Duffy (the dog fomerly known as Glacier) has joined the family,
and he fits right in. He's visited all the extended family, too, and he is officially a part of the greater Dolan-Gonzales-Rose-Tutino-Williams clan. He wasn't responding to Glacier, and seeing as how we wanted to change his name anyway, we let him chose his new name. We had a bunch of options, and he responded immediately to Duffy. It's amazing how it truly is his name - he always comes when called, even when he's running in the other direction. The picture above was taken at last week's cyclocross race.
He's been kinda itchy, so we gave him a special bath yesterday. How funny is his tongue? He is so mild-mannered, he just sat in the tub and enjoyed the four-handed massage. He follows me everywhere and sleeps at my feet. He sleeps through the night silently in a travel crate that stays by the bed. And he loves his tennis ball!

Apparently, this is what some 30-year-olds do for fun:
In other news, Paul turned 30 this week. It was distressing...
...but we managed to enjoy the occasion by celebrating with our families.

Whatever floats your 30-year-old boat, right?
